Therapeutic Uses of Lumen: Suggestions from Dr. Stan Gross
Reviewed by Stan Gross, PhD, D.C. who is actively heading an independent clinical research facility not directly associated with Lumen Photon Therapy, Inc. Dr. Gross is also applying his knowledge based in Traditional Chinese Medicine through his doctoral training at the Shanghai Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Guangzhou Medical Institute of Chinese Medicine. Dr. Gross is currently being installed as the first non-asian 5th Degree Grand Master in Traditional Chinese Medicine and is the newest member of the council of the People’s Republic of China.

Infectious arthritis (osteomylitis)” is a very serious problem indicating his immune system may be compromised. Consequently, I strongly recommend Beta 1,3 Glucans @ 400 mg to 600 mg daily along with Alpha Glucans (mushroom extract) @ 1500 mg daily. This will trigger the receptors on the white cells to attack the infection more efficiently. Concurrently, apply the Lumen at settings #1 or 2 to penetrate the wound barrier and increase the permeability factor for the immune system. This will likely increase the inflammation but it will ultimately bring the infection under control.”
Hepatitis C:
“I have been using the lumen on four of my Hepatitis C patients with liver enzyme irregularities. We have lowered the SGBT and SGOT levels and the virus load is negative. After a few more like these, we might want to open this up for scientific discussion in the medical journals”
“The correlation between Lumen and the standard applications associated with traditional acupuncture points is well established and understood. The combined alarm and tsing points associated with Fu Yang for the liver. So, using the NICO settings at the spine at the areas of the liver (T6 through L1) triggers the associated bladder meridian for the hepatic reflex. Concurrently applying Lumen to the foot and ankle will involve Liver 3, Stomach 42, Kidney 1 & 3 and the terminal Bladder points. This will also trigger hepatic reflex and increase energy to the liver. The receptors associated with light frequency sensitivity at the basement layer of the epidermal neural lymphatics will stimulate macrophage activity thus decreasing viral titers. These reactions are well established in the literature as it applies to traditional Chinese medicine. The Lumen closely follows the same therapeutic efficacy of acupuncture and the same patterns for needle and pressure applications apply to light therapy for the most part.”
“I have a couple of people who seriously want to do the HepC protocol on their own. If I am correct this involves applying a Lumen 90 pad laterally from LV 3(on right foot) laterally along foot(BL points?). Simultaneously apply a second pad to T6 -T12. Are these the areas? Any other advice?” Ron Patterson
“LV3 is at the junction between the large toe and the second toe so covering the entire area is quite effective. Covering the areas on the spine adjacent to the liver (T6 – T12) will address the liver function directly.
Transfer Factor from ProHealth delivers 250 mg of beta glucan at a standardized delivery of 6% or, roughly 4 mg. The saturation potential of the beta glucans from DeeCee Laboratories approaches 100% delivery. In other words, there not a lot of difference except in salesmanship. NSC offers Macroforce (Sherry Roger’s choice) at 10 mg micronized. “
Amyloidosis and Lymphoma…”NICO settings over the front and back of the middle of the body will offer the greatest level of stimulation to the associated vessels and the Yin channels. Yang needs to be relaxed so avoid head and neck exposure. 2 to 3 times daily is ideal. Beta Glucans, Alpha Glucans and Colloidal silver are my supplemental choices to give the immune system a fighting chance.”
Low white blood cell count: “Focusing on the front of the body especially the abdomen, go with the lowest setting for ten or fifteen minutes to stimulate the liver, the spleen and the lymphatics. Then, use the NICO setting on the sternum to stimulate hemopuetic or blood producing tissues. I might also suggest finding someone who distributes Vemma, a concentrated xanthone juice. Try DebbieBuckler@Vemma.net Send her a note telling her I sent you to get product. Take 4 ounces, three times a day to effect both T and B cell production. There should be a noticeable change in less than two weeks. Even if the underlying problem is a subclinical lymphoma, this can be brought under control. “
Hypertensive reactions “are often associated with kidney and pulmonary function. Using NICO setting on the thoracic region triggers the parasympathetic chain which increases renal and pulmonary function (not to mention the decreased stress reaction associated with a few moments of peace and quiet). I think this might be a future research project but I need to finish the first three that are about to conclude
My current studies include:
The Lumen and Specific Pain Receptors
The Lumen and Viral Titer Reduction
The Lumen and Stress Marker Reductions.”
Autoimmune Urticaria: “I was thinking NICO for this type of autoimmune problem. By stimulating the basement layers of the epidermis, the vascular and lymphatic bundles will open allowing for vascular flow. The histamine receptors associated with the inflammatory reaction will be triggered reducing the painful and irritating symptoms. It is also very close to the theory of traditional Chinese medicine when “ringing the dragon” is used to sedate a particular region. Consequently, the endorphin response will follow by fluctuations in the applied frequencies over the area of irritation and inflammation.”
Enzyme deficiency CPT2 as well as being schizophrenic: “The Chinese consider addiction as an energy weakness brought on by depression (of the heart). The drugs act as a substitute for the lack of heart energy and the ability to cope. My suggestion is to find a certified Chinese acupuncturist to raise heart chi and balance the meridians according to the patient’s classic signs. We are snow flakes when it comes to addiction…everyone is unique. Then, using the blue lights over the frontal lobe, the stimulation should promote normal serotonin exchange to the brain and ease some of the tensions associated with withdrawal. It becomes a tug-of- war between the addiction and the quest for true happiness. The problem with artificial energy like the one provided by drugs is that it hides the true issues of deficiency too well. Facing that deficiency will allow the natural expression of joy to overcome the artificial existence.
Use the blue lights at the highest frequency for 20 minutes at a time, two to three times daily for seven to eight weeks until the addiction has passed”.
The adenoids “are part of the immune defense system and, unless they are obstructing the airway when she is lying down, should not be removed. Food allergies are secondary to breathing difficulties. If respiratory sensitivities exist in the household, it might just be in the house! Black mold is the number one culprit and is usually hidden behind bathroom and kitchen walls. Fungus and mold spores can also hide in carpeting and drapery especially in an area where there is moisture issues. A product by Physiologics called Resphora Plus will help clear and spore congestion and free the airway. A combination of beta glucans, alpha glucans and serrapeptase enzymes will ease the immune system. Dosage levels vary according to body mass.”
Adrenal fatigue: “Level one or two for ten minutes…4 times daily…it acts like deep set acupuncture drawing endorphins from other tissues”. Lumbar 1 area
What location is best for regulating the thyroid? GV20?
prolapsed uterus?
“Thyroid is influenced by GV 14 and GV 16…the uterus tonificationis CV 6 and CV 4.”
