Lumen Changes Name to InLight

Published by

Lumen Photon Therapy announced that their private label Lumen Photon Therapy devices, effective immediately, will transition to InLight Photon Therapy devices.

Because InLight devices are the same manufacturer as the private label Lumen devices, they have the same highest quality as the private label Lumen devices.

In recent years, InLight developed an expanded line of light therapy equipment and has continued further research and development in the field.  Lumen believes the change allows them to make more widely available a totally compatible, expanded line of light therapy products. Please be assured that Lumen Photon Therapy will continue to stand by their high standards in production and customer care.

Although the InLight product line is a bit different than the private label Lumen product line, your choices are exciting.  In fact, you’ll find some interesting InLight products such as an LED Facemask and trilight LED pads that are available immediately.

It’s important to note that all InLight devices are completely interchangeable with Lumen devices and that InLight, as manufacturer of the private label Lumen devices, will continue to service and repair Lumen devices.

We invite you to read about the entire InLight line of Photon Therapy Devices on our Next Wave website and ask for your patience with Next Wave as we make this exciting transition.

As always, feel free to call Next Wave for assistance or with questions at 949-542-6332 (PST).  If you get voicemail, please clearly leave your name, the best phone number to reach you, your time zone, and the latest I can return your call.  (I return calls in between appointments and at the end of my workday.)

Best Regards,

Declutter Series: #5 Takeout Menus

Published by

This is the next posting in our continuing Declutter Series.  It’s another quick easy one!

If you have additional ideas, feel free to contribute! I’d love to hear from you.  🙂

So I’m out and about.  I go to a restaurant.  I pass by a sandwich place, a new bagel deli, or perhaps I see a food establishment that catches my interest.

Yep.  I admit it — I LOVE food places…

So of course I bring home a Takeout or Take Home Menu.

After all, everything I need is on that menu, right? – Available items, prices, phone number, address… and “you never know” when I might need it!

I dutifully add this new menu to my “collection”.

I have them in drawers, pinned to the refrigerator, on my desk, under the blotter, etc.  (You know… all the typical hidey-holes for this kind of stuff.  🙂

So I gathered them all up and guess what???  Some of the menus in my “collection” are YEARS old and some of these places don’t even EXIST anymore!

Also, almost all this information is readily available on the internet, in a web site, or in some readily available smart app.

And their information is the most updated info!  Unlike most of MINE… 🙂

The solution?

In the garbage!

Done!

Another pile of useless “stuff” gone…

Regards!

Declutter Series: #4 Dried Pens

Published by

This is the next posting in our continuing Declutter Series.  Another super easy one!

If you have additional ideas, feel free to contribute! I’d love to hear from you. 🙂

Ok, I admit it — I seem to inherit pens… all shapes, all sizes, all colors!

How they manage to show up in my house? — I just don’t know!  But show up they do!  It’s a mystery, for sure.  🙂

So I collected all these pens — and guess what?  More than half of them were dried up and useless.

OUT!

My new streamlined collection is now strategically placed in cups on my desks, by phones, or anywhere else I tend to “take a note”.

The rest of the “good ones”?

I put them in a baggie and placed the baggie with my good office supplies.

Done!

Regards!

Declutter Series: #3 Old Magazines

Published by

This is the next posting in our continuing Declutter Series.  Another easy one!

If you have additional ideas, feel free to contribute! I’d love to hear from you. 🙂

Some of us have hidden (or not-so-hidden) piles of old magazines…

Mine are in a magazine basket next to the couch and the overflow (yes of course!) is in a 4-tiered shelf AND a box under a desk.

I have all good intentions to read them.  (Really!)  But I just run of time and they continue to come.  And they continue to stack up.  Do they clone???

I have to look in the mirror and admit — if they’re a year old, what are the chances I will really get to them?  Honestly!

So here’s the easy fix:  If they’re a year or more old, they go.

Many places would love to inherit old magazines:  Pre-schools, Schools, Libraries, Care Facilities, Friends, etc.  Ask around.  You’ll be surprised.

Remember to remove your name and address.

If you choose to throw them out, remember to put them in the recycle bin.

Done!

Now doesn’t that feel good?

Regards!

Declutter Series: #2 Old Prescriptions

Published by

This is the next posting in our continuing Declutter Series.  And it’s another easy one.

We take this opportunity to open our medicine cabinet and get rid of old prescriptions and over-the-counter pills/capsules/ointments/creams/etc that are expired, or that haven’t been used in months. (years???)

Many of these items are unsafe when past their expiration date.

Be sure to dispose of this stuff properly.  Some drug stores and/or municipalities have safe drop-off places.  Flushing them down the toilet is not a safe option.

Look how much space is in there now that this stuff is gone!

Maybe run a wet sponge over the shelves and remove all that dust and gunky build-up.

Wow it looks nice now!

Done!

Regards!

Declutter Series: #1 Old Nail Polish

Published by

This is the first in our continuing Declutter Series.  And it’s an easy one.

I was actually amazed to find a few bottles of old nail polish that were so clumped or dried up!  They were in a drawer.  We all have one of those drawers…

So don’t worry about anything else in that drawer — just say goodbye to that gross useless old nail polish!

In the garbage!

Done!

Regards!

Declutter Series: Introduction

Published by

Stressed because of clutter?  (Or perhaps we have clutter because we’re stressed?!!)

Either way, most of us would agree that if we could just de-clutter our space, and maybe free up a bit more space, we’d feel a lot better.

An article in the Orange County Register (7JAN17) cited a UCLA study which actually found that decluttering isn’t only an aesthetic task, but has proven health benefits.  They found that women who live in a cluttered environment are more likely to experience a surge in cortisol, a stress hormone!

So there’s the connection – our clutter may be contributing to our stress!

That said, it’s a good idea to periodically take an honest look at all the “stuff” we tend to accumulate with an eye toward “toss”, “recycle”, or “donate”.

Whichever “pile” you choose, don’t just move it from its original “hidey hole” to a “never-to-go-out” pile.  Get it out of there as soon as possible!

So together, let’s take some of the stress out of our world ONE TINY STEP AT A TIME.

After all, we don’t want to stress out over creating yet ANOTHER project to procrastinate over!  (I know for me, the mere idea of tackling such a daunting project can be stressful!)

Ok so let’s take this one teensy step at a time… of course, we’ve all heard the adage: How do you eat an elephant?  (One bite at a time!)

Yeah… easy for THEM to say… the elephant isn’t in THEIR space!

So here goes — For each posting, I’ll identify just one “bite” — one teensy little bite — and we won’t even THINK about that whole elephant. I promise to identify something that will only take a few minutes… and we’ll do it together.

If you have any additional ideas, feel free to contribute!

I’m feeling hungry for a bite of elephant… how about you?

Regards!

Dr. Sherry Rogers, MD Comments on Cutting Death Rate Using Far Infrared Sauna

Published by

Dr. Rogers Weighs In
Doctor Sherry Rogers, MD, globally noted Environmental Doctor discussed her concerns about risks of dying from sudden cardiac arrest or other heart diseases in an article in the December 2015 issue of her monthly newsletter “Total Wellness”.

Dr. Rogers writes that the risk of dying from cardiac arrest or other heart diseases was as much as 63% lower in middle-aged men (ages 42-60) who took up to seven saunas a week compared to those who only took a sauna once a week.

She said that the Far Infrared Sauna can provide vascular improvements “commensurate with low-level exercise (as described by the Journal of the American Medical Association Internal Medicine online)”.

She voiced concern that the Journal failed to mention the Mayo Clinics’ “proven superiority” of the Far Infrared Sauna, and also that they failed to mention whether the men in the study had “normal magnesium” levels (that could account for the “folks who died anyway”.)
Quality Counts
Dr. Rogers went on to advise people to purchase only a “top quality” sauna such as from High Tech Health.

She further voiced concerns that proven benefits of Far Infrared sauna were provided “decades ago”, yet are only coming out now and in incomplete form that “could kill folks”.

Did She Say HIGH TECH HEALTH Far Infrared Sauna??
Yes! You read that correctly.

Dr. Rogers consistently advises to use your High Tech Health Far Infrared Sauna daily.

That’s easy. I like easy.

It’s also natural, noninvasive, pain-free, and downright relaxing.

So we can drop our risk of dying from heart diseases simply by relaxing in a High Tech Health Far Infrared Sauna….

I appreciate that Dr. Rogers shares these recommendations that can help my health.

Dr. Sherry Rogers, MD Comments on Thinning Hair – Lumen Photon Therapy and More

Published by

Do you have male pattern baldness?

Can you see shiny scalp through your thinning hair?

Are you alarmed at how many precious hairs are lost in the tub or sink after washing your hair?

Are you a female with these problems?

Boomers Re-Writing the Book on Aging
We keep hearing more and more about this “thinning hair” issue.

As boomers age, they seem to be re-writing the book on what they accept as symptoms of “aging”.

Hair seems to be one of those things that boomers are unwilling to easily accept.

All the little sayings about our hair are true – whether you’re male or female.

It’s our crowning glory. Whether we like it or not, our hair defines so much of how we look: our image both to ourselves as well as how others perceive us.

Dr. Rogers Weighs In
Evidently, the subject also came to the attention of globally noted Environmental Doctor Sherry Rogers, MD, who offered her recommendations for thinning hair in an article in the December 2014 issue of her monthly newsletter “Total Wellness”.

Dr. Rogers writes that some people who supplemented with choline-stabilized ortho-silicic acid reported increased hair volume and stronger hair which became less likely to break. Dr. Rogers notes that, in addition to helping your hair, this supplement may also help your skin, nails, and bones.

She also advises to ensure proper nutrient levels – especially those related to bone health. She says that if the hair issue still persists, consider addressing hormones, xenobiotics (like heavy metals), and to use your Lumen Photon Therapy Device on the scalp.

Did She Say Lumen Photon Therapy??
Yes! You read that correctly.

Dr. Rogers advises to use your Lumen Photon Therapy Device on the scalp area set to NICO.

That’s easy. I like easy.

It’s also natural, noninvasive, pain-free, and downright relaxing.

I can lay in my own bed and put the Lumen on my scalp while I relax, read, watch TV, snooze….

I appreciate that Dr. Rogers shares these recommendations that can help the health of my hair, scalp, and hair follicles.

Other Solutions?

You’ve probably read about a lot of other advice that’s out there. It runs from the absolute ridiculous to the sublime – shampoos to surgeries.

Seems also to be a matter of how concerned you are, how much time and money you’re willing to invest, and how much discomfort and pain you’re willing to tolerate.

Me? I’m pain-averse!

In fact, I’m ok if you consider me a wimp regarding pain.

I’m also unwilling to try anything invasive or toxic with all their potentially negative side effects… especially when there are so many natural, non-invasive solutions to consider.

Wearable Patches – Great Feedback
Next Wave has terrific feedback from people who use the New Hair BioEnergy wearable patches.

Here’s one amazing story:

A professional woman (late 60s) had a receding hairline. She was losing hair at the corners of her forehead. (Similar to the start of male pattern baldness.) In addition, the hair on top of her head was thinning so much that she could see her scalp. She was also alarmed at how much hair was in the sink after she washed her head.

After 6 weeks of using this patch, she found baby hairs growing at her receding hair line. To make sure she wasn’t “imagining things”, she asked her long-time hair dresser to check things out. He was amazed at the difference.

One thing that tickles her is that the new hair growth is returning in her natural color – not grey!

She’s also amazed at how few hairs are now found in the sink after washing; and her hair dresser says that her hair is “overall” so much stronger, more healthy, and vibrant.

Wow!

That’s pretty impressive.

Only six weeks to wear a tiny patch that has no drugs or harmful side effects.

That sounds hugely reasonable!

Natural Approaches with No Downside
So as usual, Dr. Rogers gives us her clear recommendations (with references) – this time to help thinning hair.

Her natural preventive approach sounds reasonable, easy, and affordable to me.

(And I see no downside.)

(Once again, Dr. Rogers to the rescue.)

What do you think?

I’m looking forward to trying her recommendations and hope to hear how Dr. Rogers’ recommendations work out for you.

Thinning Hair? New Hair BioEnergy Wearable Patch

Published by

Hello, Friends –

Today I have a subject on my mind because of thoughts following a chat with a female client regarding her concerns about her thinning hair. She’s worried because she’s losing hair, her hair is thinning, and she said her scalp showed and her hair just doesn’t “look good” anymore either!

She wanted to talk about the New Hair BioEnergy Patch to consider it as part of her solution.

Nu Hair BioEnergy Patch

Nu Hair BioEnergy Patch

Silly Cures!
She liked that there are no drugs involved, no special expensive shampoos or conditioners, and nothing to massage into her scalp, etc etc.

In fact we were both giggling over some of the purported “cures” and “fixes” that she mentioned. Some of them sound downright silly!
Feedback: New Hair BioEnergy Patch
I shared the feedback I have from a healthy woman approaching 70 years young who had similar concerns about her own hair issues… in addition, the second woman was experiencing the addition of a “male pattern baldness” – her hair line was actually receding!

Anyway, the good news is that after wearing the patch for 6-8 weeks, this 70 year old woman went to her hairdresser to make sure that she wasn’t “imagining” the good results!
Hairdresser Agreed!
Indeed, he verified that there was healthy baby hair growing all along her receding hairline, and that, funny as it seemed, the new hair growth was coming in her natural color brown rather than gray!

Oh, Yeah! Imagine that!

No wonder she doubted her own eyes!
It Keeps Getting Better!
So the woman has kept wearing the New Hair Patch and keeps reporting better and better news each month! The latest feedback? Her hair is shiny and healthy again… and it’s stronger (her hair dresser agrees).

She used to get a “basin of hair” each time she washed her hair. She said this no longer happens!

I can hardly wait to hear her next excited report!

Best to you all!

-Mari
