Lumen Photon Therapy for Neuropathy
Lumen suggests the following Lumen Photon Therapy protocol for neuropathy:
- Setting NICO 30-60 min / Add Setting 7 if pain / Add Setting 3 if neuropathy is more neural. Lumen usually recommends starting under the sole of the foot and then moving up the back of the leg. They recommend 20 – 30 minutes with NICO followed by 10 to 15 minutes of #7 if there is pain. Lumen advises to use NICO at first and then transition to #3 after circulation has improved and inflammation has lessened. They suggest that even treating just on the sole of the foot will be beneficial.
- Lumen also advises to add Setting 4 on gastrocnemius three times or more per week consistently. This is primarily for the circulation. They also notes that you can also use Setting 3 for the nerve tissue and treat all along the nerve path
- In addition, Lumen also recommends using setting NICO over the lower back (L1/L2 area) to help reduce overall body inflammation
