10) How Do I Provide Hair?
PNC provides a professional information packet in your hair test kit which describes the easy procedures to obtain a proper hair specimen.
You just provide about one tablespoon of clean hair, sampled from several areas of your scalp on the back portion of your head. Simply part your hair and cut a few strands of hair close to the scalp. Cut excess hair from the sample leaving about one inch from the root end.
If your hair is permed, dyed, or bleached, you may want to wait as long as possible before your hair service, and provide a sample of virgin hair (as stated above by cutting and removing the treated hair. (As a last resort, nails and pubic samples can be provided. Be aware, however, that results may not reflect your most recent mineral patterns because these tissues grow more slowly and sporadically than scalp hair.)

11) How Long To Get Balanced?
This can be complicated to answer because PNC respects that each person is unique. Also, your body’s imbalances have often been caused and accumulated over many years. In addition, as imbalances are corrected, other (not yet detected) imbalances may surface.

Dr. Greg Tefft, a renowned clinical bio-nutritionist, wellness practitioner, and author, is founder of Personalized Nutrition Consultants (PNC), is a Board-Certified Naturopathic Physician and Chiropractic Doctor, and a Board-Certified drugless physician.
